Go west for a sparkling new season of showstoppers at Swansea Grand Theatre and Brangwyn Hall.
Musical magic is on the menu with Our House, the musical with the Madness soundtrack (14 to 16 Feb) and Dirty Dancing is back from 19 to 23 Feb. Be transported back to the 80s with Fame the Musical from 1 – 6 April and Thriller Live dances back onto the stage from 29 April to 4 May.
Don’t miss the global smash with hit seasons on Broadway, London’s West End and Las Vegas and a star-studded Hollywood movie version, Rock of Ages promises the biggest party in town (14 – 18 May).
Join Alex (X-Factor 2016 winner Matt Terry), Marty, Melman and Gloria as they bound out of the zoo and onto the stage in the live musical spectacular, Madagascar, from 21 to 25 May Take a trip back to the electric 80’s when hair was big, shoulders were padded and mobile phones were bricks with Club Tropicana from 28 May to 1 June.
Treat the little ones with a trip to see Ben and Holly on 6 and 7 Feb and The Sooty Show on 15 April. The Little Mix Experience returns on 18 April.
Charlotte Keatley’s award-winning play, My Mother Said I Never Should is the most widely performed work by a female playwright worldwide and graces our stage from 28 – 30 March. Octopus Soup, a brand new British farce, runs from 23 to 27 April.
There’s a whole host of other sensational shows to see, including ‘The History Guy’, Dan Snow, who makes his first appearance at the theatre on 9 Feb. Peter Andre is on 5 March and The Sensational 60s Experience is back on 16 March.
The BBC Now programme continues at The Brangwyn Hall with Bolero: Viva Espaṅa is on 8 Feb, Elgar’s Enigma Variations (15 March) and Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 is on 12 April.
Also at the Brangwyn Hall, Here Come the Girls on 29 March, with Dianne Buswell and Amy Dowden who established themselves on the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing and joined by Chloe Hewitt. An Audience with Anfield Legends is on 2 April and Swansea Philharmonic Choir is on 13 April and country music giant, Charlie Landsborough, brings his final tour to Swansea on 26 April.
