The Russian State Ballet of Siberia is bringing three amazing ballets to Cardiff this Christmas all sprinkled with magical special effects. In the most famous of fantasy ballets, The Nutcracker, you’ll travel to a fairytale world where toy dolls come to life at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve. This is also your chance to see Swan Lake, the greatest romantic ballet of all time. This one pulls no emotional punches, and the haunting score by Tchaikovsky and the flawless formation of gliding swans will stay with you long after the performance. The last in the trilogy is Cinderella, the world’s favourite rags to riches fairy-tale where dreams can come true, expect lively choreography and colourful costumes.

There’s plenty of magic, mischief and mayhem as the heroes are helped in their quest by their trusty friends Merlin the magician, Laughalot the court jester and Nurse Connie Clatterbottom.
