Cardiff Open Air Theatre Festival is now on – Don’t Miss It

The enormously popular annual festival by Everyman Theatre is back at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, with more shows that ever before, from Shakespeare to Sitcom, there’s something for everyone.

This year’s line-up includes Shakespearean classics The Merchant of Venice and King Lear and musical extravaganzas Fiddler on the Roof and The Rocky Horror Picture show. The Home Guard will also be marching into Sophia Gardens as much loved British sitcom Dad’s Army gets a adapted for the stage.

The annual family show suitable for young children is madcap musical Seussical Jr. There’s also an evening of stand-up comedy in support of Amnesty International.

What better way to spend a summer’s evening than enjoying the delights of the theatre in the great outdoors, get your tickets early to make sure you don’t miss your preferred dates.

SEUSSICAL JR – 21 JULY – 28 JULY

The Festival is produced in partnership with Cardiff Council.

STAND UP IN THE PARK is in support of Amnesty Cardiff – and specifically their campaign of support for NAZANIN ZAGHARI-RATCLIFFE.

The performance of DAD’S ARMY at 8pm on Saturday July 7th will be a Gala Performance in support of the ROYAL BRITISH LEGION.
