Bake Off’ contestants set to cook up a storm at Redrow’s Parc Plymouth development

National housebuilder, Redrow Homes, is inviting the public to join them for a day of baking demonstrations with Great British Bake Off favourites; Paul Jagger, Louise Williams and Val Stones.

The trio will be visiting the showhomes at Redrow’s Parc Plymouth development in Radyr on Saturday 20th January, from 12-4pm, and will be there to whip up a selection of beautiful bakes, as well as pass on their top tips and share tasters with those who come to watch the demonstrations.

Parc Plymouth is a picturesque development situated just three miles from the centre of Cardiff within the Plasdŵr community. Perfectly placed for commuting, world class sports, superb shopping and a wide choice of leisure options, the development offers a range of 3, 4 & 5-bedroom homes and caters for all family types.

The showhomes set to open their doors at Parc Plymouth are Redrow’s 3-bedroom Oxford Lifestyle, 4-bedroom Cambridge and 5-bedroom Highgate. All of the showhomes whilst spacious in size, retain a warm and cosy feel as part of the housebuilder’s luxurious Heritage collection.

Paul Jagger, who has lived in Wales for the past 20 years, took part in the Great British Bake Off in 2015 and famously won Bread Week when he made ‘Cecil the Lion’ out of three different types of bread. At the Redrow events, Paul is keen to impress visitors and live up to his title as Star Baker after last month’s appearance on the Great Christmas Bake Off.

Paul said: “Being back in the tent for the Great Christmas Bake Off was fantastic, it was the perfect opportunity to prove myself after missing out on the finals in series 6. I’m really excited to bake with fellow Welsh contestant, Louise, and having already met Val during the Christmas competition I’m sure between the three of us we’ll have a lot of fun.”

“It’s always a wonderful opportunity to share my love of baking with the public and hopefully at the Redrow event I’ll be able to inspire a few more people to try baking themselves at home.”

Sian Smith, Area Sales Manager at Redrow Homes South Wales, said: “It’s brilliant to be able to host these kinds of events alongside our showhome openings. We’ve had Louise and Val visit a few of the developments previously and it proved to be a huge success, so we’re all really excited to see what the pair plus Paul have planned – it’s definitely not one to be missed!”

The Sales Office at Parc Plymouth is open Tuesday-Sunday, 10am-5.30pm and Mondays, 11am-5.30pm. For further information please call 02920 609307 or visit www.redrow.co.uk
