A taste of Wales at The Big Welsh Bite

The popular food festival returns on 4th – 5th August! Featuring FREE entertainment and FREE entry, the two day event is a must whether you’re a foodie or not.

The Big Welsh Bite is set in the beautiful grounds of Ynysangharad War Memorial Park, Pontypridd – also home to the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty.

The annual two-day event celebrates culinary delights from around Wales. From cupcakes to curries, pastries to pulled pork, there’s a vast range of food to eat on site as well as to take home with you.

All produce available at Big Welsh Bite will be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders themselves, resulting in a scrumptious range of local produce.

Once again this year in addition to the food on offer, there will be craft stalls and a packed itinerary of arena shows, cookery demonstrations and side attractions.

The event is open from 11am til 5pm each day – why not go along and sample culinary delights from around the country?

If you’re a food producer and would like a stall at this year’s Big Welsh Bite, please email events@rctcbc.gov.uk.
